Drying Time

The most constant factor in what you can accomplish as a haunter is often overlooked: "Do I have enough time for this to dry?"

Your paper mache has to dry. Your glue has to dry. Your latex or foam has to dry. Then your monster mud has to dry. Then your first coat of paint needs to dry. Then your second or dry brush coat needs to dry. After that, you need to seal it against weather, and that has to dry. These things take time, and if you are painting today, you'd better hope for dry weather tomorrow. Having said that though, always keep a can of black spray paint nearby.
