The Holly Tradition

No mistletoe at our house -- we hang holly and fight under it.

Aaaaaaand that's probably it for me this year. I drew these mostly before having minor surgery and don't expect to do the rest while recovering.

Drying Time

The most constant factor in what you can accomplish as a haunter is often overlooked: "Do I have enough time for this to dry?"

Your paper mache has to dry. Your glue has to dry. Your latex or foam has to dry. Then your monster mud has to dry. Then your first coat of paint needs to dry. Then your second or dry brush coat needs to dry. After that, you need to seal it against weather, and that has to dry. These things take time, and if you are painting today, you'd better hope for dry weather tomorrow. Having said that though, always keep a can of black spray paint nearby.

Deeper, Darker, and Much Bigger

The Innsmouth Cemetery is a Crusted Cthulhu Box big enough for a wand, an elvish pig-sticker, three deck boxes (with plenty of room to spare) or pretty much anything a foot or so long.  The lids of the tombs are removable for secret storage.

Dirty Deeds Done Down Deep

They came again today with another shipment. I'd hoped we were done this year but it looks like they've been busy "down under." No sleep tonight I reckon.

What are they doing to her? I think you know.

They brought four this time. More to come.
